Breaking barriers through meaningful collaborations

The Australia Global Alumni is a growing and dynamic network of influential leaders and innovators that bridges members with fellow global leaders, opening opportunities for meaningful collaborations.

Australia Awards alumna Ann Marie Cunanan founded Meaningful Travels PH, a social enterprise that offers cultural immersions and volunteering trips to remote rural locations in the Philippines. Through the Australia Global Alumni network, Ann Marie met fellow Australia Awards alumna Amanah Busran-Lao, a Shariah lawyer for the National Commission for Muslim Filipinos. Together, they organised the Muslim Town Immersion Tour to promote better understanding of the Muslim culture.
