The Royal Australian Navy task group will visit a number of ports to build partner capacity and develop interoperability in the South East Asian region. Additionally, ships will participate in Exercise BERSAMA SHIELD and the multilateral naval Exercise KOMODO.

Australia supports training and education opportunities for personnel of all ranks from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and Philippines Coast Guard (PCG), and middle-to-senior ranked uniformed and civilian personnel from the Department of National Defense (DND). Training opportunities include formal courses and workshops conducted in Australia or Australian Defence Force Mobile Training Team (ADF MTT) delivered courses in the Philippines.
