Australia Awards scholar paves the way for sustainable road construction in the PH

Since the 1950s, the Australian Government has provided study and research opportunities to around 3,500 Filipinos with the aim of empowering and equipping these individuals to drive change and contribute to Philippine development.

Today, the Australian Government continues to provide educational opportunities to Filipino change-makers through the Australia Awards and Alumni Engagement program.

Neilsen Campit, Research, Development and Field Testing Engineer and Quality Assurance Inspector of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), shares how his Australian education helped him develop innovative solutions to improve environmental sustainability of road projects in the Philippines.
